In 1998, the first assisted reproduction centre in Lithuania was established in the Mother & Child Clinic that became a member to NORDICA network of assisted reproduction centres in 2005. Our centre cooperates with the main NORDICA centre in Copenhagen, Denmark. We took the opportunities to use the latest techniques and experience of the top field professionals.
Our doctors (gynaecologists, andrologist and embryologists) go to the international conferences and seminars on infertility issues several times a year, and foreign colleagues come to advice our patients. By working in NORDICA network centres our specialists acquire an invaluable experience, since here much more procedures and manipulations are performed than during several years in Lithuania. Doctors of the clinic are members to ESHRE (European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology) and ALPHA (an international forum for scientists in reproductive medicine).

Assisted fertilization (intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilization, intracytoplasmic sperm injection) is used, when after determining infertility causes there is no other way to have a baby or when drug treatment gives no expected results.
